Nathan Caton and Kelly Convey
Nathan Caton’s charismatic and laidback style of stand-up has seen him quickly establish himself on the comedy circuit. Regarded as one of the best young comics in the UK Nathan’s award-winning combination of personal and topical anecdotes has led to appearances on BBC2’s Mock The Week, BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, BBC Radio 4’s Now Show, News Quiz and his BBC Radio 4 sitcom Can’t Tell Nathan Caton Nothing.
Beginning stand up while still at University studying Architecture, Nathan quickly made a name for himself winning the Chortle Student Comic of the Year, FHM Stand Up Hero Finalist 2010 and Black Comedy Awards Best Young Act 2011. Nathan Caton is one to watch!
‘… laidback, on-the-nose material, chopping down fools of all colours, both in day-to-day life and in the media’ – The Guardian
Kelly Convey is an ‘in-your-face and reassuringly confident’ (Chortle) comedian who is not one to mince her words when giving audiences an insight into what modern women really think. While her outspoken and forward-thinking musings may go against the grain, ‘there’s a winning authenticity to her material’ (Chortle) that is refreshing and relatable. Voted by The Metro as ‘1 of 9 Hilarious Women to Look Out for in 2017’, Kelly Convey is, no doubt, one to watch.
Kelly has no filter when it comes to her opinions on sex and society, sharing them in her hilarious, wholehearted performance that will make you feel like you’ve known her for years. With a face like butter wouldn’t melt and a mouth like a white van man, Kelly brings a side-splitting and strangely refreshing mix of feminine and ladette style to topics women rarely talk about in public.
‘Kelly is a bright and filthy new star’ **** – Funny Women
